Message	the convenience, so I bypassed it as soon as I bought my car. I use the turbo timer, so I never leave the car parked in gear. If you do bypass the switch, don't let anyone drive your car unless they know about it. If you want to do it right, put a toggle switch somewhere on the dash, so that you could utilize the safety switch when you need to.
